In the new year, Toronto MC Honey Cocaine will be dropping off a new project by the name of The Gift Rap, and today, she's granted us a listen of the first leak from the project. Entitled "Money Over Love," the CPDUBB and Ron Sizzle-produced song is pretty self-explanatory.
Over a bouncy, Mustardy beat, Queen HC drops bars about her old day job at Burger King, her anger at Mike Brown's death, "The Andy Griffith Show"'s Floyd The Barber, and her color preference for her money and her tea (green). It sounds very dope on first listen, and has us excited to hear the full project.
