While the drill scene got it's peak mainstream attention in 2012, it's continued to grow and flourish since that time. While Keef continued to get weirder, Lil Durk rose to the occasion, and became the most likely contender for crossover success. Meanwhile, Katie Got Bandz continued to pump out music, collecting some radio and club records, particularly the King Louie-assisted "Pop Out", which pushed her into the A-list of Chicago's street rap roster.
Always displaying a good chemistry with collaborators, Katie works well with Durk, as he pushes things in a melodic direction, while she brings her aggressive charisma. Download her new mixtape Coolin In Chiraq here.
