Back in November, singer/songwriter Mikky Ekko dropped off "Mourning Doves," the lead single from his forthcoming debut album. Now, two HNHH favorites, Suicideyear and Denzel Curry, have contributed a remix.
The producer (who we recently featured in our "Behind The Beat" series) and rapper are two of Ekko's personal favorites, and they sound like just the right people to re-work the cool, poppy track. Suicideyear gives "Mourning Doves" a frostier soundscape, as is his habit, and Denzel wows us with his dizzying flows, which seem to become more impressive with each new track.
Ekko's debut album, Time, is set to drop on January 20th.
