C-Murder is still serving a bid for the shooting of a 16-year-old fan, btu today, a new track from him has surfaced. "Hard 2 Be Black" also features Snoop Dogg and Boosie Badazz. The audio quality of his voice (and Boosie's for that matter) suggests that his contributions may have been recorded from the pen itself (a la "Thank God" or "Nathaniel").
The track tells of the hardships that minorities still face in America, referencing Trayvon Martin along the way. Boosie's verse comes straight from the heart, talking about the "life with no parole" sentences that are only too common among his friends.
Quotable Lyrics
Judge he turn his nose up, sentence us bad
Life with no parole is how they sentence us blacks
Nine times out of ten, we killin' our own kind
Liquor stores on the corner to kill us in due time
