Ever since Manolo Rose's "All About The Money" was bought and remixed by a certain weirdo-averse NYC rapper, it seems like other rappers can't get enough of it, lining up to add bars of their own to the sparse, piano-led track. Trae Tha Truth is the latest.
Allowing his (maybe) Hustle Gang compatriot to rap the intro and hook, Trae then comes on and immediately samples the viral "P.O.P., hold it down" video. His bars are a welcome addition to Troy's "0-100"-copping flow, but his verse is regrettably short. I wish he would've stuck around for another verse.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm still a king in my city where they slow it down
Got 'em yellin' "P.O.P." the way I (hold it down!)
I bet these diamonds help you see if you was barely blind
And this drop head on it you can barely find
