Onetime No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani hasn't released a proper solo album since 2006's Sweet Escape (which had Akon guesting on its title track), but that should change next year. Apparently, Stefani's currently working on a third solo album, and after it was debuted by Pharrell a few weeks ago at Odd Future's Camp Flog Gnaw, the first single has been released.
Produced by Skateboard P himself, "Spark The Fire" comes with hyperactive artwork that calls back to Stefani's "Harajuku Girl" days. The track is sing-songy and reminiscent of a schoolyard chant, which -- if the "B-A-N-A-N-As" chant in "Hollaback Girl" is to be believed -- is the sign of a hit Stefani song.
