Strangely enough, Chicago production duo Odd Couple aren't the most unlikely pairing on their newest track. "Everything" brings together two representatives of the two sides of modern Chicago rap: Lil Durk representing the drill demographic and Alex Wiley being very much of the Savemoney/weirder side of the city's sound.
Odd Couple, who previously produced "You're Welcome" for Wiley, turn out a track that's buzzing and soulful, and features a hell of a lot more Durk than Wiley, with the latter coming on midway through for a distant verse. Still though, it's awesome to hear the two prevailing poles of Chicago united with nary a hint of magnetic rejection.
