Timbaland was a guest on The Breakfast Club this morning, and after a discussion about the Aaliyah movie, which was slammed across the web, Timbo discusses Rick Ross' new single "Movin' Bass" featuring Jay Z. The single left most listeners unimpressed, something which Charlamagne Tha God brought up during the interview. Timbaland goes ahead mid-interview to preview a version of the track that featured his artist Tink, a rising female rapper from Chicago we've been keeping tabs on for a minute now. FakeShoreDrive comes through with a radio rip of the OG version, which finds Tink, Rozay and Jay finishing each other's bars. Tink definitely holds her own. Do you think this version of the track is more impressive than the one Ross released?
After previewing the OG "Movin' Bass," Timbaland goes on to let us hear even more records he has in store with Tink, and they all sound dope. Skip to the 25:29 mark below to hear those songs.
Quotable Lyrics
Junkie at the door like Jehova witness
20 chickens watchin' and I still be movin' bass
Gave a job to the children you scared to raise
