Dutch singer-songwriter Mr. Probz released his track "Waves" back in November 2013, but it's only now gaining traction on the radio in the U.S. Currently at number 22 (and rising) on the Hot 100, "Waves" now gets a remix that will make it inescapable for some Americans. Chris Brown and T.I. have just hopped on the track.
A balearic, definitely dance-focused song, "Waves" benefits from Breezy adding his crystalline vocals on top of Probz's gruffer, less accomplished singing voice, and from T.I.'s low-key intro. With an instrumental that's pretty undeniable in its catchiness, "Waves" looks like it'll catch on stateside, especially after this remix.
