Future and Drake's "Never Satisfied" was one of the most peculiar songs to end up on a major album this year -- not because of any sonic weirdness, but because it seemed to be abruptly, inexplicably shortened. Now, the song's producer, Mike WiLL Made It, has shared the full version.
Initially appearing on a pre-release stream that also failed to include "Benz Friendz," I suspected that the first version of "Never Satisfied" was the subject of a glitch, but lo and behold, the same version ended up on the album. But this time, instead of Drizzy's vocals fading out mid-verse, they're left untouched, and an instrumental outro is tacked on to boot.
Now someone tell me why this version didn't end up on Honest.
Quotable Lyrics
Me and that boy Future could probably start a group
On some K-Ci & JoJo shit, had these bitches loose, man they know what it do
We got these niggas in the game stuck and they shouldn't move
I don't like sudden moves
