The last time New Orleans native Chase N. Cashe linked up with NYC producer araabMUZIK, the duo turned out a dope track by the name of "Araab Crazy," and now they've come back for a sequel. "In God's Hands" is the heater this time, and it has a fittingly divine beat.
Opening with some supremely distorted bass, "In God's Hands" goes on to add in watery synth effects, stuttering percussion and some high-pitched, "tip toe wing"synths atop the sonic chaos. Over all this, Chase begs for God's help because he's "drowning" in money and pussy. Most would call that a cause for rejoicing, but for Cashe, it's something that demands divine intervention.
Quotable Lyrics
Yo catch me swingin' out in Harlem
Fresh from New Orleans
That work I make it got me Spalding
That mean I'm ballin'
