The last we heard from Tone Oliver was back in September on "Something Good" with Jetpack Jones. It's been a minute, but he's finally back on "Motivate." A fresh cut from an as-of-yet-untitled EP ("I'm working on an EP. That's all you need to know right now..." reads his SoundCloud), the track finds Oliver detailing his daily hustle and motivations. This one has a markedly different sound compared to "Something Good," demonstrating his versatility as an artist. The instrumental on this one comes courtesy of Handbook.
Stay tuned as we continue to bring you the latest from Tone Oliver. Meanwhile, be sure to follow the man himself on Twitter.
Quotable Lyrics:
Underrated and underpaid
So my money's paid under the table
From LA moved to the Bay
Don't label me; I can't trust a label
