Mack Wilds takes a crack at Dej Loaf's "Try me" instrumental.

The success of Dej Loaf's "Try Me" happened seemingly overnight, but the freestyles have been gradually trickling in, and seem to have come to a peak in last week or so. As usual, not all of the takes have been all that necessary, but we have been given some pretty cool versions from Chicago rappers like Lil Durk, Tink, and King Louie, who don't have to stretch their style to far to sound at home on the instrumental.

Mack Wilds hails from New York, but he's also done a good job of keeping the essence of the original song alive on his take. His strong voice helps him adopt Dej's melodies quite gracefully, giving us some paranoid street brags that add to Loaf's initial themes.

Quotable Lyrics:
From the city where bein' loved ain't poppin'
When niggas die like there ain't an option
Niggas rock flags like they patriotic
Throwin' signs, so the opps always with a static
