It's hard to believe that this is the 19th #tbt track that Raekwon's released in what began as a summer series. "Can't Believe" follows 18 weeks of Rae going in over classic-flavored instrumentals, all reworkings of R&B/Soul tracks that are over a decade old. Today, he tackles Faith Evans and Carl Thomas' "Can't Believe."
Rae hops on the track fairly early on, and only spits a quick verse before handing it over to the original vocalists to take us home. Even still, a 16 from Raekwon is still more potent than an entire EP of verses from most rappers, so there's a lot to digest here.
Quotable Lyrics:
The loot brothers, Timbo coverage
Hidin' in labs that got panic rooms eatin' organic clams
Drug us, put poles in villas, let ladies get wild
Kick off the red bottoms, the pussy tryin' to kill us
