On November 18th, Chicago's SD will release his debut album, which is titled Truly Blessed. Having dropped the project's first single, "Loyalty," in June, he frees the second one today, premiering exclusively on HNHH. "Circles" is a meditative track that's bolstered by crushing bass.
Led by piano and airy, smeared synths, "Circles" also incorporates electric guitar, strings, minimal percussion, and of course, that aforementioned, unforgiving bass. Lyrically, SD addresses drama within his circle and the ability to silence any naysayers of the squad by various methods. Mostly singing in auto-tune, SD makes "Circles" more about the vibe and the production than the lyrics, but still holds it down with some great lines.
Quotable Lyrics:
I hop out front on me
I'ma leave you filled with circles
I'm in the club she on me
But she really seein' numbers
