Tuki Carter shares "Chirp."

Tuki Carter's last track, "Yeah," released in August, was one of the most impressive ones we'd heard from him yet, so naturally we were excited to see what he'd come up with next. Today, he returns with "Chirp," a track produced by Atlanta native Forte Bowie, and it certainly lives up to our expectations.

A cloudy, bleary-eyed composition, "Chirp" references the old-school chirping noise Nextel cell phones used to make, and slides alongside Father's "Nokia" in the category of 2014 songs referencing pre-smart phone era cellulars. Forte Bowie comes through with a beat that blends ghostly vocal samples with skittering percussion and bubbly synths -- a perfect canvas for Tuki Carter's rhymes.

Quotable Lyrics:

I wiggle 'round you niggas, tick and tock
Ain't worried 'bout a watch, ain't waitin' for no time to stop
Ain't waitin' for no co-signs 'cause it's go time
Nigga, I'm my own co-sign, you nigges need to stop
