For many, the first time hearing Smoke DZA was on the first edition of Curren$y's Pilot Talk, and if not there, it may have been on Big K.R.I.T.'s Krit Wuz Here, which dropped a month prior. On both joints, Spitta was by his side, and it's always something special when the two weeded out rappers get together.
Curren$y just dropped a new Jet Life mixtape called World Wide Hustlers, and the first name to immediately jump out of the tracklist is the Kushed God himself. The collaboration, "Don't Play Me", sounds like a slightly updated version of what the two were cooking up back in the Pilot Talk days, which makes sense as neither has strayed too far from the sound they had going at that pivotal time.
Quotable Lyrics:
I pull up, hit her
All in my Mercedes
Doggy bit my style, I'm still shocked no rabies
It's all gravy, I'm extra wavy
Diamonds dancin' like it's hearin' breakbeats
