Plenty of rappers have paid tribute to Nirvana's iconic frontman, and Black Cobain isn't even the first to dedicate his name to the fallen rock star (that, of course would be Houston's Kirko Bangz). You could say Cobain is channelling the man he borrowed his name from on with his new track, "Today", which is built off of a guitar sample, and features a prominently sung hook.
The Virginia emcee then drops his assured flows on the verses, but his refrain, which is complimented by a warm bassline is the main draw of the track. His No Buzz is due out soon.
Quotable Lyrics:
I know I'm gon' be rich as fuck
My bitch, she gon' be thick as fuck
Hammers gon' be liftin' up
Word to slinky, pick 'em up
Today
