Next week, Pittsburgh native Devin Miles will release his new project entitled Pixburgh. We've already heard two tracks, "Came Up" and "No Different," from the upcoming release, and today it's our pleasure to premiere the next track to drop from Pixburgh. "Chess, Not Checkers" also features Hardo and was co-produced by Andrew Lloyd and Karbon.
A methodically-paced, thinking man's track, "Chess, Not Checkers" is about one-upping your rivals and staying ahead of the competition. Miles bookends the track with a pair of verses, leaving Hardo to do his thing in the middle, and both rappers turn in bars that prove to us they're the Grandmasters of this shit.
Quotable Lyrics:
I'm just out here for that bankroll
Been the same since I been a day old
These niggas moldin' the same flow
After mine, they styles is Play-Do
You see I been consistently ripping beats
See my name grow
Now these bitches fuckin' the squad
Out here like Bang Bros
