No Love

Check out Papoose's new sample-driven track, "No Love".

Papoose generally keeps things pretty New York, which does not generally include 80s power pop acts. Regardless, he's pulled a sample from The Outfield's 1986 track, "Your Love", which when you think about some of the sample sources from Cam'ron's Purple Haze, may not be that off-base after all.

Pap raps hard as ever either way, though he opts for a slower punchline-based flow rather than his usual punishing double time. No word on whether or not this is set for any particular project, but Pap has a way of dropping projects out of the blue, so don't be too surprised if we get a new effort soon.

Quotable Lyrics:
H-town, knockin' the boots again
Doggystyle, I think he listenin' to Snoop again
So now I'm good
Right back in the loop again
I ain't got no love for 'em
