Over the past six months, Rocko and 808 Mafia's TM88 have collaborated on three separate occasions, so it seems only right that they're joining forces to form the duo Carte Blanche (a French expression that translates to "complete discretion or authority"). Today, they've shared "Chill," Carte Blanche's first official release, and Yakki Divioshi is also featured on the track.
Rocko and TM88's chemistry was palpable from the get-go, and this time's no different. "Chill" turns out to be a banger about those people who simply have "no chill."
The track is taken from '88's upcoming, Basquiat-inspired EP Bartsquiat, the artwork of which you can see above.
Quotable Lyrics:
A demon dabbin' on the molly
All he ever done but lookin' for some Doctor Martens
Those chicks in the cabin are not leavin' with you
Rappin' all that bullshit ain't important
