Despite being a legendary producer and one of the founding members of the veteran Diggin' In the Crates (D.I.T.C.) collective, Diamond D has not released a production compilation album, until now. Today the producer delivers his first such effort, The Diam Piece, jam-packed with appearances from Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, Skyzoo, Rapsody, Fat Joe, The Alchemist, Pharaohe Monch, Nottz, Kurupt, Guilty Simpson and more. With the album's official release today, Diamond D has sent over a leak off the LP to stream, "Where's The Love," featuring Talib Kweli, Elzhi and Skyzoo.
As for the compilation, Diamond D says, "I wanted to make a classic sounding project with some of my favorite iconic and new MC's." Does he achieve his goal? Let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics
These wack questions get flipped back on them interviewers
They like describe yourself
I'm like that's your job,
Ain't you a scribe yourself?
These niggas lazy guy
We stay involved, we off the books like librarians
Then beef like vegetarians, civilized and barbarians
- Kweli
