Listen to D. Smith's "So Gone".

D. Smith hails from Hartsville, TN, a town not exactly known for it's hip hop scene, which may be why his sound is so singular. His new track, "So Gone" is a soulful auto-tune ode, using a crawling instrumental that sounds like something out of 90s Houston. While implementing many of the tools plenty of artists are using these days, he's able to create something truly unique. Look out for more from Smith very soon.

"So Gone" has placed the rapper among this week's final four Heatseekers. If you like to have your song or video featured on the site, you can submit content to us here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Let's accept it
My calling at the age of 18
Writing lyrics never seen on top
Not bottom, or between
Not gon' lie, it's hard
To try and do what I've never done
But why quit?
I can do all things under the sun
