In celebration of his “These Days” Tour rolling into Madison, WI tonight, Ab-Soul decides to give the DopeHouse the green light to premiere his newest offering “W.W.S.D.", which stands for What Would Soul Do.
Backed by some acoustic guitar riffs, Soulo slows things down here a bit and hops on Jackson Browne's country-folk record (fittingly titled "These Days") and reminisces on past and current issues. The release comes just a few weeks after receiving the CDQ version of his Statik Selektah-produced track "To The Max".
Take a listen to the sentimental record, and let us know what ya think! While you're at it, cop These Days on iTunes if you haven't already.
Quotable Lyrics:
So many pills I should’ve slipped already
My lungs the same color as my lips already
Expensive clothes, insufficient funds
Me & my bro’s switchin’ hoes just for fun
