Last week, Yelawolf took a break from his freestyle series over rock songs to go "full Mumford" on a new original, but this week he's right back at it, going in over an alternate version of Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child" (also sometimes referred to as "Voodoo Chile," as you'll see in the artwork).
Spitting over the deceased guitar gods bluesy riffs, Yela makes a play on Big Boi's "Int'l Players Anthem" verse ("grab a sweater, better yet a jacket") and yet again shows that he's one of the most nimble-footed lyricists in the game.
Check out Yelawolf's recent freestyles over songs by The Doors, Pink Floyd and Primus here.
Quotable Lyrics:
I'm sicker than a hiccup
In a heat with syphilis and hepatitis
Suckin' on a pipe of canna-bise
Plus a virus that can't be identified
