Since Azealia Banks parted ways with her major label earlier this summer, we've only gotten one track of Azealia 2.0 -- entitled "Heavy Metal And Reflective," the slightly experimental track seemed to suggest that the independent route would better suite the femcee. But now we've got another track from the rapper, "Chasing Time," and it's decidedly more poppy than its predecessor.
With an uptempo electro beat that's very similar to that of Banks' breakout track, "212," "Chasing Time" subs out that track's sexy cheekiness in favor of sung choruses and added production sheen.
Do you like this side of Azealia Banks, or do you prefer "Heavy Metal And Reflective"?
Quotable Lyrics:
Don't get lost at the highway, freeway
We been off course like a wrong way relay
Need me a boss, you a constant D league
These the kind of thoughts I been having for three days
