Ever since appearing on Que's "OG Bobby Johnson" follow-up,"Fuck Around," the Atlanta resident has been picking up steam in his local scene. Today, he takes some inspiration from the Cash Money group that launched Lil Wayne's career on a track called "Hot Boy."
Comparing himself to Weezy in the song's hook, Bankroll Fresh raps that he's "Ballin' like a Hot Boy," and provides evidence of this claim in the track's verses. The "Hot Boy" beat, produced by Cassius Jay, is a bit more catooonish than most trap fare, but not so much that it resembles a decidedly zanier Zaytoven beat.
Quotable Lyrics:
All star 2014, I was drunk as fuck on Birdman
Young nigga just swervin', young nigga just splurgin'
I came from servin', young nigga I'm workin'
