Chicago native Johnny May Cash has been priming his next mixtape, My Last Days, for release for months at this point, and today we got a glimmer of hope in the form of a track that will be included on that release. "CPW" features YB and was produced by Young Chop, who shared it on his SoundCloud page today.
An auto-tuned drill jam in the genre's pretty standard style, "CPW" benefits from Johnny's knack for catchy melodies and Young Chop's ability to weave a gentle piano line into an otherwise militaristic beat.
Stay tuned for My Last Days, hopefully this track is a sign that it's on its way.
