Although previous collaborations between the groups have been sparse, Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers have always seemed to be on the same wavelength. Both more LSD-friendly and zooted than Pro Era, the only other big group in the Beast Coast movement, the BK groups have now linked up under a new moniker: Clockwork Indigo.
Also the name of their upcoming joint tour, Clockwork Indigo finds all five members spitting on "Butterfly Effect," a seven minute epic produced by Eric Arc Elliot. A grimy, slow-paced all-out rapfest, the track shares its name with a 2004 Ashton Kutcher movie and an effect in chaos theory that Wikipedia says is the "sensitive dependency on initial conditions in which a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state," whatever that means.
Y'all dig this supergroup?
Quotable Lyrics:
How can a nigga do his homework when his mom's on crack?
How can I produce a record that'd be equal to that
Every time I play some new shit, I'm just stickin' to swag
My motivation to the youth is how we bringin' it back
