Things have been looking up for Philly rapper Asaad ever since he dropped the sick track "Alejandro Jodorowsky Flow" with Ab-Soul back in March. He's since put out his successful Flowers II tape and been invited to open for the Black Lip Pastor on his upcoming These Days... tour. This fall, he'll release another, yet-to-be-titled tape, and today he shares "VVS," a brief but enticing look at what's to come.
A relatively trappy track, "VVS" has Asaad going in over DP Beats' clattering beat with ease, delivering one verse that's enough to carry the less than 90-second-long track.
Stay tuned for Asaad's new tape.
