Well, another artist has taken a shine to Archie Marshall's King Krule project, and it's not who you'd expect: Willow Smith. Yes, the 13-year-old singer now joins Ratking, Earl Sweatshirt, Travi$ Scott as artists in the hip-hop/R&B realm who've given the British musician a co-sign, in this instance a cover of his track "Easy Easy."
Accompanied by a description that echoes the weirdness of her brother's now-legendary tweets ("Traveling multidimensional emotional planes with frequency expression"), Smith's version of the 2013 track features electric guitar, Smith's voice and not much else.
Her only other track to drop this year was "8," which was included on a compilation by Kitty Cash.
Quotable Lyrics:
And easy come and easy go
Well yeah I'm sure I told you so
Well they just want you for your dough
Man I'm sure I told you so
And with your dead-end job
That's been eating away your life
You feel a little inside
The trouble and strife
