Wara From The NBHD recently popped up on our radar with his dope August release, Kidnapped, and less than a month later, he's back with new material. "Case Closed" is shared as a one-off track, and tells of Wara's brother's incarceration.
Produced by 8-Track, the sample-driven track has a very different feel than most of Kidnapped, which was constructed largely out of live instrumentation and entirely produced by Wara."Case Closed" is a lengthy track that features a beat change-up about halfway through, resulting in two very distinct halves. Wara lyrically shreds on both beats, and shows his versatility even when he's not behind the boards.
Quotable Lyrics:
My brother told me 'chill dawg, lemme handle the gunplay
You know that's my forté, you bubblin' like sorbet
Plus I can't afford no fucking court case
Save face, no trace for reports' sake
