Last week, Yelawolf surprised all of us by releasing what very well may be the first-ever freestyle over a song by funk-metal band Primus (simply titled "Primus Freestyle"). Now he returns, showing that he's just begun his takeover of rock tracks with a freestyle over Pink Floyd's "Money."
Taken from the band's legendary album Dark Side Of The Moon, "Money" begins with the sound of sampled cash registers and receipts before blazing off into jazzy territory highlighted by a 7/8 time signature. Unfortunately, Yelawolf doesn't venture that far down the rabbit hole, but it's awesome enough to hear him find pockets among the song's opening sound effects.
Quotable Lyrics:
Oops, this party is starting
No need for parking and red carpeting
'Cause that clogs up the arteries
Of all of these awkwardly hard to be reached people
