Visionary Music Group's Jon Bellion is best known as a co-writer of Eminem and Rihanna's "The Monster," but starting with last year's free album, The Separation, the dude's been carving out a nice solo career for himself. Later this fall, he'll release a new one entitled The Definition, and now we've received a second track from the project. Preceded by "Munny Right," here's "Luxury," which also features Audra Mae.
The track begins with some off-kilter 808 percussion, before adding in horns and a more driving beat that herald the arrival of Bellion's angelic vocals. He also raps on "Luxury," and Mae supplies vocals on the outro.
Quotable Lyrics:
Money the jealous type, I always knew it
I knew she'd come around if I only sweat the music
But I'm starting to believe that that's a problem to my health
'Cause the size of half these checks could make me vomit on myself
