Lorenzo Asher's latest track, "Dreamy Saratoga," will pull you in with its intriguing production and leave you wanting more after just two minutes and 18 seconds. The sketch-like new track was produced by Asher himself, with burbling synths and breathy sound effects backing up his impassioned singing and rapping.
Asher begins by singing with just a touch of auto tune on his voice, before cutting himself loose for a verse just after the one minute mark. Musically, this isn't too far from what chill-out electronic acts like Tycho and Boards Of Canada produce, and it's awesome to see Asher corral that sound for his purposes.
Quotable Lyrics:
This anti-Harriet Tubman
Click, boom, one in your stomach
It's crazy, these here Republicans
They love this shit, now look at me
