Flo Rida has made the dancefloor his home for the last decade or so, so it's only right that his latest song, "GDFR" (Going down for real), co-opts sounds from the most popular genre to dance to at the moment: EDM. Outfitted with a big, somewhat garish synth/horn hook and a preceding "drop," the Sage The Gemini-assisted number isn't as boldly electronic as "Turn Down For What," but it comes close.
Taking Mr. "Gas Pedal" himself along for the ride, Flo Rida aims to connect with an audience that's too young to remember "Low" or "Right Round." By Jove, I think he might just do it.
Quotable Lyrics:
It's going down further than femurs
Girls get wetter than Katrina
Yeah my girl, you never seen her
'Cause my tints by limousiners
