A few days back, Lil Wayne and Drake wowed us with their second Carter V collabo, "Grindin'." Going in over Boi-1da and Vinylz's hard-as-fuck production, the YMCMB duo gave us a definite summer anthem, and nowanother duo have taken on the track.
Roscoe Dash and Jason The Kid have just released a remix of "Grindin'" that, unlike many "remixes" of popular tracks, is an actual reworking of the song, complete with some new production flourishes from Blame Ronnie. Looping Lil Wayne's Young Thug-esque vocals at the beginning, Ronnie chops things up so that Dash and JTK have a fresh canvas for their bars.
Quotable Lyrics:
Aw man, where the hell the flow come from?
Every song I'm on, they be like 'Scoe got one'
And I put my name on it, I don't owe 'em, not one
Rappers know they get a body like there's some fuckin' shots off
