DUBB and Bodega BAMZ may hail from opposite sides of the country, but that doesn't mean they can't collaborate and produce straight fire. The aptly-titled "Bodega & Liquor Stores" finds both MCs discussing life on the coast that isn't their home.
Starting with DUBB rapping about his unfamiliarity with snow, the Hidden Faces-produced track then has BAMZ spitting bars about the best fast food L.A. has to offer (yes, of course he name-drops In-N-Out). It's an interesting, fish-out-of-water strategy for this duet, which proves very effective.
This is taken from DUBB's Perfect Timing mixtape, which is set to drop sometime next year.
Quotable Lyrics:
They thought they need Joe Torre, but the move never works
And even though they killed Big, I still fly out the work
Fresh outta jail, out on bail, and I'm Cali dreamin'
Soon as I step off the plane, I'm hearin' mamis screamin' "papi"
