"Ever since Mike Brown went down, my whole city like 'fuck a cop'"
That sentiment, found on G-Unit's new track "Ahhh Shit," is one that many Americans can probably relate to in the wake of the 18-year-old Ferguson, MO resident's death. Following a powerful track by J. Cole addressing the situation, Young Buck, Kidd Kidd and 50 Cent offer their own two cents.
With powerful lines that address Brown's death head-on (including a particularly chilling one about getting shot while your hands are up), the Unit sound understandably incensed over this beat from TM88 of 808 Mafia. People are angrier than ever at violent, misguided police, and G-Unit have just given us a soundtrack for that rage.
Quotable Lyrics:
We don't do no peace treaties, no backing down, no calling quits
Kidd Kidd, tell these niggas how quick Buck'll get on my New Orleans shit
Like, 'warrr-daaayyy,' say bruh, you must not know me
You want war? Okay!
