It's NBA Media Day and reporters across the country are asking the league's biggest superstars about all things basketball, as well as the most important off-the-court issues.
For instance, LeBron James was recently asked about the recent police shootings to which he simply replied, "It's a scary ass situation." While LeBron noted that not all police are bad, he did express some serious concerns about what could happen if his son were to get pulled over once he gets his license.
This isn't the first time that LeBron has addressed the violence in this country, as he, Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony opened up the ESPY's over the Summer with a powerful speech following the killings of Philando Castile, Alton Sterling and five Dallas police officers.
The reigning NBA Finals MVP was also questioned about Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest, and whether he plans to follow suit once the NBA season gets underway. James said he'll be standing for the Anthem, though he does respect Kaepernick for expressing his views in a peaceful manner.
