Earlier this year, we were introduced to Taylor Bennett, Chance The Rapper's little brother, by way of his misleadingly-titled Mainstream Music project. Though none of the tape's 14 tracks sounded like they'd end up on the radio, the young MC's tongue-in-cheek approach to music (and titling his projects) won some acclaim from HNHH users, with the May release now resting at 84% approval.
Nonetheless, with an unorthodox delivery and inescapable comparisons to his Acid Rapping sibling, Bennett has surely faced his fair share of hating. His new, one-off track, "Hatin'," confronts the naysayers head-on, and Bennett comes out sounding stronger, befitting the Man Of Steel suit he wears on the cover.
Quotable Lyrics:
Never listen to a hater, gettin' money on the daily
Where I cruise in Mercedes with a beautiful lady
You gotta be crazy to think a word could phase me
