We're two days away from the release of Boaz's new Real Name, No Gimmicks (Vol. 1) project. In prep for the release, the Pittsburgh emcee has decided to let loose yet another track from the tape. Titled "Welcome 2 Steel City," the song is a menacing ode to his hometown's struggles with violence and poverty.
Signed to Pittsburgh's own Rostrum Records (home to Wiz Khalifa and formerly Mac Miller), Boaz may just be the independent label's next big thing.
Look for more from Real Name, No Gimmicks (Vol. 1) when it drops on Wednesday. Meanwhile, be sure to follow Boaz on Twitter for all of the latest updates.
Quotable Lyrics:
The judge just gave my nigga a 10 to 20
He had to plea to a manslaughter
Said he was thinking about his little son
When he come home he be a grandfather
