Ransom's been dropping heat lately. Following two vicious freestyles over "0 To 100" and Wu-Tang's "Tearz" (AKA "They Talked About Jesus"), he shared the posse cut "Now On" last week, highlighted by strong verses from Chinx and Vado. Now he's back on "Around The World," which features the 17 year old Astro and was produced by Vocab.
Centered around a jazzy piano loop, "Around The World" rolls along methodically, perfectly setting up two impassioned verses from the MCs with its spacious beat and distant drum rolls. Ransom and Astro contemplate life's mysteries, which they seem to suggest get heavier after you've been "around the world" a few times.
Quotable Lyrics:
Papa was lazy, he probably hate me when I penned this
Closest we ever been was when he squeezed me out his pen-is
I entered the world hard headed, ball shreddin'
Goodfella, strong weapon, jabbed that in the armageddon
