Although he's used auto-tune to aid his rapping before, Chicago's SD has never been one to let it stand in the way of his street-hardened bars. That's why his latest track, "Complaining," is a little surprising.
Teaming with hometown mainstay Young Chop, SD unleashes a pained sung delivery more reminiscent of Lil Durk than Chief Keef. Tagged both "R&B" and "Trill" on SoundCloud, "Complaining" could technically be considered "emo rap," but it also thumps.
We're guessing that this may be more heat from SD's upcoming album, Truly Blessed, from which we've only heard the track "Loyalty" so far. Stay tuned for more news on that release.
Quotable Lyrics:
Complaining complaining, no that ain't my avenue
Complaining complaining, girl I might get tired of you
Complaining complaining
Relax and take your mind away, girl I'm here to take time away
