Though she's been releasing music since 2012, most of the hip-hop world was introduced to SZA's psychedelic strain of R&B through Z, her debut album on TDE. Since signing to the label in Fall 2013, the New Jersey native has seen her stock rise substantially, leading to collaborations with her labelmates as well as Mac Miller and Chance The Rapper.
Now she's back with "Moodring," a track that will appear on DJ Kitty Cash's upcoming mixtape, Love The Free II, alongside other boundary-pushing R&B fare. Produced by frequent collaborator Felix Snow, the track has just the dreamy, hypnotic sound we've come to expect from SZA. Another triumph for TDE's first lady.
