SBE, or Star Boy Era, are a trio hailing from Chicago's west side. Today, they've shared a track entitled "Ain't Havin' Shit" that's taken from their upcoming mixtape, due out later this year.
Using the auto-tuned delivery that's preferred by many of their Chitown contemporaries, SBE go in over a beat that sounds like it samples a loopy video game soundtrack. As a result, "Ain't Havin' Shit" is super catchy, sounding like drill's take on a Zaytoven track, with the Boys' pained deliveries coming off like a cross between their city's own Lil Durk and ATL's Rich Homie Quan. ChiLanta indeed.
