At last night's VMAs, Kanye West delivered a four-minute speech in which he addressed his beef with Taylor Swift, gun violence in Chicago and more. Sneakerheads who were hoping to see Kanye grace the VMA stage in a new pair of Yeezy Boosts were probably a little disappointed though when he appeared in the Yeezy Boot 1050 instead.
While Kanye didn't use the platform on Sunday night to showcase his new Yeezy Boosts, he did step out in a new pair of black & red Yeezy Boost 350s prior to the VMA festivities- a colorway which could be a nod to his hometown of Chicago.
The kicks in question are a pair we haven't seen before, and they look to feature the familiar red streak that has become a staple of the yet-to-be-released Yeezy Boost 350 V2.
The black & red Yeezy Boost 350s could just be a pair specially designed for Kanye, but there's always a chance we could see these and, others like it, at the Yeezy Season 4 unveiling in September.
