Slum Village are readying a free EP, Vintage, for release later this year. They've previously shared "We On The Go," which featured Black Milk and Frank Nitt, and now they've unveiled the similarly-titled "We On," starring Kam Covert on the hook.
The beat for "We On" is an unreleased J Dilla instrumentals that, prior to this, was floating around without a home, but now the jerky track is helping out his former groupmates in Slum Village.
On their upcoming "Welcome To Dillaville" tour, Slum Village will be paying tribute to Dilla while on the road. The tour will feature a J. Dilla exhibition before each show, showcasing rare photographs and stories all pertaining to the legendary producer and the group.
