Jennifer Hudson wowed at last night's BET Awards, debuting new song "It's Your World," and now you can stream the R. Kelly-featuring jam. Produced by veteran house producer DJ Terry Hunter, the track has an upbeat, dance-y feel that, despite its electronic stylings, has very little in common with modern EDM.
Instead, "It's Your World" recalls a byegone era of house music, when it was more closely akin to disco and diva-style vocals ruled the clubs. Hudson does the routine down to a T before Kellz comes in with some almost Stevie Wonder-esque vocals in the midsection. It's a fun, celebratory track that has us stoked to hear Hudson's next project.
