If you were tally up some Vegas-style odds on bands that were least likely to end up on HotNewHipHop, Rixton would probably be around 1000:1. Known for their enormous hit single "Me and My Broken Heart," the boy band from Manchester, England, is about as far off from "urban" as musicians can possibly be. Sometimes, however, statistically anomalies can occur.
Now featuring a verse from none other than Future Hendrix (or just Future), "Me and My Broken Heart" appears on our pages with some fresh new instrumental touch-ups and a slightly more street feel--at least on the intro. For Rixton's contributions, the track returns to it's radio-friendly roots. In other words, hip-hop heads should stay far away; this one is for the hip-pop fans.
Quotable Lyrics:
I knew you way before the fame (I knew you, knew you)
I know you the girl I met; I'm seeing through you
You can't be wasting all my quality time
Like I'm going to let you lie to me, ain't gonna pay you no mind
I'm just being honest
